For a super dim sum lover ~ I finally find a place apart from Hong Kong and Ipoh that offer great dim sum.

What I mean here is that overall, all the dishes are good and some was outstanding.

Located at Bandar Puteri Puchong ~ this place was a "hidden" gem amongst the other big guys on the same row.

Dragon Imperial ~

Offering various type of dim sum from steam to fried it is definitely a treat of gastronomy~

Some of the must try dish that I highly recommend :-

Lau Sa Pau - bun with salted egg yolk oozing out steaming hot ~
Stir Fry Loh Pak Gou - white radish cake fried till crisp on the outside with juicy bean sprout, savory chinese sausage，and "choi pou" (salted white radish chunk)
Juicy Dumpling with Ginger - fish dumpling top with ginger paste with a hint of sweet, sour and spicy touch
Loh Mai Kai - the infamous glutinous rice cooked with chicken, mushroom and chinese sausage

There offer weekday special for Loh Mai Kai or Porridge at RM 1.50 with any beverages.

Also for every RM 30 spend, you will receive a stamp and every 3 stamps you will receive a dim sum of your choice for free~

I was away for the weekend to attend Bon Odori in Penang.. Left office last Friday and went straight home to pack up some stuff and drove back to Ipoh.

Reach Ipoh about 11pm ++ and was thinking to have a bowl of nice and warm beef noodle @ tong sui kai ^_^ slurp.. as I was about to order... aunty said.. sorry sold out jor.. @_@ what...!!!

Back at home, as I was about to sleep there came a sound " grong.. grong".. Jump out of bed and switch one the light to see....Nothing. Lights off and went back to sleep and the sound returned... On the lights and this time f!@#$%^&*.. big fat rat hiding behind the dressing table. Scared the s!@# out of me!! Guess I left the room too long since my last return.. I spent the whole night cleaning the mess. and make sure every single corner was ready with traps.

I was supposed to fetch some friends who will tag along @ 9am, but went I woke up, it was already 9.30am..Reached Penang by 12pm and made a call to reserve some tables for lunch @ Aji Noren..

Just after I hang up, I happily drove across the bridge and (slap,slap) stupid mouth.. Jam!!

A car caught fire and traffic is moving slowly, I can feel the heat of the burning car even 2 lanes away from it.. and the car is bursting bit by bit.. so scary...

Then we reached the makan place.. oo got calls from the restaurant said many ppl waiting for tables.. must come faster.. ^^ first time eating there.. food was superb.. tasty tender juicy saucy so nice can't describe more.. I ordered teppanyaki beef set..

It was so nice... and we drove back to hotel to take some rest.. and wait for the night..

Just happen to went back to Ipoh last week.. Well is future-mummy-in-law's birthday..

We went Dim Sum the very morning... maybe it was quite sometime since my dim sum day in Ipoh.. i really miss it.

I suggested a place where I used to have my fav "har gau" when I was a kid. My grandpa used to own a photo parlor right behind this place and me and my cousin both hold the record of 7 plates of "har gau" each at one go.. hahaha..

So here's a little of what we had

Notice the pau on the right hand corner.. @_@ yes is a "big pau".. Is so big that I myself "woah" when I saw it.. We also ordered "har gau" of coz.. there's another "har gau king" which is exactly the size of the egg tart in the picture which we didn't order... The egg tart is crispy on the outside and smooth on the inside..freshly baked.. there is another version of more luxurious egg tart which come with bird nest.. Slurp..

This place is call "Yuk Fook Mun", ipoh mali should know where it is.. Just right across "Ming Court" another dim sum place famous for "Bite size" dim sum..

If you ppl happens to go Ipoh for Dim sum at the infamous "Foh San" but could not get a sit, do try this out is just Next Door on the same row..
