The pirates are back and this time, their journey takes you to a place unknown - On Strangers Tide.

So my task is to answer one simple question ~ think of the best 3 things being a pirate.

Top of my list - get to meet Jack Sparrow on the course and romantically fall in love with this handsome yet slightly evil captain. Steer my heart away ! rawr ~

Second, treasure hunting ! I will take on the journey to unveil every buried treasure and salvage every sunken ship for its gold and precious item.

Lastly, fighting sea monster, mystical creature and meeting beautiful ladies as my journey continue.

Out of curiosity, I redeemed my 5 days sample from Metrojaya Lancome counter and also a mini makeover on that very day ~

I was really impressed with what the Maqui Miracle could do ~ so my rating and response was full of stars. (we are require to submit a Q&A after trying it out)

So last Thursday, it was the official launch of the Maqui Miracle @ Sheraton KL .

With Lancome's first 12 hour long lasting, brightening foundation, 76 Malaysian women was invited through Facebook to test the foundation prior to its market launch for 5 consecutive days and below are the results :-

79% found it comfortable to wear

76% said that it clears up the face by covering spots and blemishes

72% said it brightens up the complexion

So what about the long lasting effect that Maqui Miracle promised - 12 hours long lasting result?

After 4 hours - clean, fresh, radiant, glowing and still natural looking

After 8 hours - glowing fresh look, still fresh without discoloration, fresh and luminous (if you have oily skin - blotting is required)

After 12 hours - still look great, coverage without patchiness

What do I think about Maqui Miracle?

It gives me a wonderful coverage that even out skin-tone and gives it a brighter and more radiant complexion all day (see the picture above - it really last all day ^_^)

Maqui Miracle ~How did it do that?

Fatin from chocolatecatsz ~ experienced the dynamic new website that deliver the latest news on the hotel's F&B promotions, culinary activities, exclusive hotel functions, behind the scene scoop on special events, celebrity sightings, interviews with guest chefs and also answers to the Q&A contest she's taking part in ~ ^_^

The guys was not left out either ~ Terry suggested some interesting "ball" game for them to have fun ~ and once again everyone was happy to receive some exclusive Hilton souvenirs for taking part.

Back to the website, Hilton KL took a little turn in the design and development of its page into a more lifestyle manner in terms of tonality, visual and also content. You will notice that the site portrays a person diligently explaining the details of various aspects of the living and dining experience by Hilton KL in a much more lively manner.

Knowing the importance of social media and interaction among the public, the site also include behind the scene interviews, a Facebook fans page, Twitter and Myspace which allows visitor to further engage in conversation with Hilton KL.

Functionality of the site include comprehensive information on hotel's facilities, wedding services, event planning tool, menu and also online reservation for various restaurants.

Living art of Gastronomy ~

Not to be missed is the Online Contest on life.HiltonKL.com starting from 25th April 2011 - 31st May 2011 and stand a chance tow in over RM 5000 worth of prizes by Hilton Kuala Lumpur.

I don't normally do food review as you all notice ~ but this time I really thinks that this is totally worth a post !

I was sitted by the corner a table for 2 and was handed the menu right after. I flipped through the menu and it was only 4 pages of food with the remaining 10 pages for wines. I also could not locate the "walnut salad" that most bloggers recommend nor the mixed grill that can sample most of the meat there.

So I asked if I could order a mixed grill and they say yes ~ at this point I'm still very excited with my orders.

First came the roast pork a.k.a siu yuk with mashed potato and greens ~ it was being reviewed as "melt in the mouth" piece of meat but the one I had was really lean and it was not anywhere near melting.

Then came the salad, Caesar salad I supposed. The bacon tasted like "wax meat" and the croutons was soggy.

Next came the mixed grilled that I ordered "out of the menu" ~ looks yummy isn't it ...

Pork chop came out overcooked - tough and dry. Beef was cooked medium well (not my request as they didn't ask), texture was fine but tasted bland. Ribs tasted more like char siew but it was ok and the best among the grill was the sausage which I find it heavily seasoned (tad too salty).

My bill came up to RM99.20 and I have to forked out another RM30 on top of the coupon that I have bought. It was not what I have in mind - totally. I should really consider packing some meat and dairies instead.

P/S - this is totally based on personal preference and taste bud ~

Reached there at 10.30 am and lucky the crowd has not started~ one of the girls giving away free balloons and shouting " free pretzel, free pretzel ~!!"

I love the way they keep the queue in and how they take note on those who have redeem ~ they stamp your hand with a cute stamp~

What I mean here is that overall, all the dishes are good and some was outstanding.

Located at Bandar Puteri Puchong ~ this place was a "hidden" gem amongst the other big guys on the same row.

Offering various type of dim sum from steam to fried it is definitely a treat of gastronomy~

Some of the must try dish that I highly recommend :-

• Lau Sa Pau - bun with salted egg yolk oozing out steaming hot ~
• Stir Fry Loh Pak Gou - white radish cake fried till crisp on the outside with juicy bean sprout, savory chinese sausage，and "choi pou" (salted white radish chunk)
• Juicy Dumpling with Ginger - fish dumpling top with ginger paste with a hint of sweet, sour and spicy touch
• Loh Mai Kai - the infamous glutinous rice cooked with chicken, mushroom and chinese sausage

There offer weekday special for Loh Mai Kai or Porridge at RM 1.50 with any beverages.

We had a wonderful session for Jukari and also half an hour on cardio ~

It was a fun work out session ~ a mild one I would say. Looking forward for the next event ^_^
