I briefly walk through the Beauty Expo in KLCC yesterday as I need to rush off to somewhere else.

This is one of the largest beauty expo in Malaysia and it takes up all 5 halls on the convention center. Admission for trade is free while public will need to pay a RM10 as fee.

First all exhibited all sort of beauty services, mainly things related to your face and move on to body. There's a lot of international exhibitors as well from Taiwan, Korea and Singapore.

Hall 4 & 5 are mainly nails and hair related products with the main stage towards the end.

Prices are cheap for things like mask and equipments while the rest are mainly courses and trade use.

I grab a brow pencil from Empro as they are having promotion for RM49.80 you get one pencil with additional refill and a free eyebrow trimming. I also grab a lip scrub from Baviphat and a travel size but awesome hair dryer from a Taiwan distributor.

On my way out I saw these sense n style student having their graduation project show and they are really good.

To be honest, I'm not much a book person. But when it comes to deals and cook books I'm a collector. So I saw this Jamie Oliver book that I always wanted but never buy because is hundred over ringgits. Then this book fair is selling for just RM24 with coupon and a ringgit more without.

I reached the place at 10.30am thinking that it would be less crowded but I was wrong. But nevertheless, there was ample parking spaces available with free shuttle to the hall so you don't need to walk.

I bought a couple of books along with the Oliver and left. It's definitely worth a visit. However, if you have missed out don't worry because you can always go to Amcorp Mall 3rd floor for cheap books.

Well ever since stepping into the working life - everything seems overwhelmingly fascinating. An old saying, working is better than study - just wait till you really start working. So to balance off, we attend yoga class, go for a drink, movie and spending time away from work. While some may not be able to step away and frequently not feeling well due to the imbalance in life that they face.

The best part attending talks and seminars is not what the speaker has to deliver but the crowd, the society, new people and the communication. After all, what you need is just someone to talk to.
