Urbane Bazaar - Taking an exquisite flight

Strange enough, shopping nowadays became more of a treasure hunt and exploration to me rather than a mainstream leisure activity. There's no longer a need to go for what everyone wants but a hunt for the unique, hidden gem that belong to few and not many.

If you are reading this and feel a strong reflective of the shopaholic within yourself, welcome to the world of bazaar treasure hunting. You often find rare handmade pieces, great prices and the passion of these stall owners not to run a business but to share with others things that they personally love.

What's more when you actually have a bunch of friends who shares similar hunting ground.. ^_^

Thanks to Ashley and Tammy (Plussizekitten) for inviting us to First Subang Mall - and allow us to turn it to our new play ground for a quiet Merdeka week in town. There are a few pop-up stores install for the week with books, clothes, jewellery and some photography stuff made available. Besides, the bazaar itself a few of  the outlets have also generously offered a session for us to tried their services and food as well.

My first stop was at Skinsenze with Tammy and the beauty therapist patiently educating both of us on the benefits of engaging "Gua Sa" tradiotional technique that uses a apparatus and couple with some massage technique to enhance blood circulation thus promote better cell regeneration. * However such special technique is not recommended for those who have acne prone skin.

Because I was on a transit flight, I didn't have enough time to actually try on the treatment personally before heading over to my second stop at The Love Nail. Clearly, this place offer full range of manicure and pedicure services and uses mainly OPI products. Also, I'm desperately in need of a nail quick fix for my brittle not manicure nails. My verdict to this is can't ask more for a express work and it could be better if there's more color choices.

Next, I adjourned to the lobby where all stalls are selling like hotcakes. Got myself a 2 necklaces (I would have gotten more but must control) and some bangles from Angelina for RM 58. It was quite a bargain.

Then, the whole pack of us head over to Coffee Chemistry for some refuelling because not noticing that we have spent some hours there hunting and pampering ourselves.

The generous spread of savouries were arranged by the organizer as well complete with beautifully crafted beverage for each of us. When I mean beautiful, it does mean impressive. 3D coffee art - isn't that cute? The food were mainly bruschetta with various toppings. Personally finds it a little overwhelming with such a thick piece of baguette. I love the mushroom and shrimp ones better.

The evening didn't just end here although by this time I'm rather filled up with all the coffee and toast. Last stop for the was Sherlyn's Little Dream - a place for the sweet tooth. There serve delicious home made cakes and refreshing milk tea for dessert goers / simple gluttonous ME..  I picked a beautiful piece of chocolate cake accompanied by a chocolate brownie. I love the brownie more for its nice crush and moist filling. It wasn't too sweet even after heating it up.

It was a fun-filled weekend and missing it already. For those who interested, always checked out their FB page to see when is the date for the next hunting season and hop over to First Subang Mall. Do try out some of the outlets located there for some nice food and pampering session too.
